Welcome!!

Everyone likes to try a new place to eat now and then, and to find a pub which is cosy and serves good food.

But for a disabled person or a wheelchair user the question is always “but can I get in?" Too often in the past I have found that there are steps at the entrance and a toilet into which it is impossible to get a wheelchair.

So this website has been set up to allow disabled people to know whether they can get in a pub before they go. Its aim is to identify which pubs are accessible for disabled people.

“Accessible pubs” means those without steps to the bar/eating areas, with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs (700mm clear openings). In addition it is desirable if a pub has a dedicated disabled toilet.

The pubs listed here are not all fully “accessible” but hopefully the information provided will allow you to find a suitable pub.

Initially we are providing information about pubs in our area (30 miles around Rugby), but intend in time to expand through the Midlands and then nationally.
